The Blue Flamingos stage show with it's full live band is currently taking the UK theatres by storm
The BLUE FLAMINGOS 60's REVIEW is a live stage show which is fast becoming established in the UK theatres through the way it portrays a very revered and distinctive decade in popular music.
Unlike many of the usual 60’s tribute bands, the Blue Flamingos are unique in having both male and female lead singers, and also features a professional four-piece live band.
This sets the Blue Flamingo's show aside from many other shows by being able to deliver a very wide selection of your favourite 60's hits from both sides of the Atlantic.
The show is performed by professional entertainers and musicians who have learned their trade as members of actual 1960's bands such as The Animals and The Applejacks
The show is split into two halves. The first half explores the very popular British Swinging Sixties, featuring the UK's most memorable artists of the time including: Tom Jones, Dusty Springfield, The Searchers, Sandie Shaw, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Hollies, The Animals, and of course The Beatles.
The British Sixties
In the second half the band whisks the audience over the Atlantic to the USA with fantastic renditions of the great American hits of the same era. With soaring 4-part vocal harmonies, the band pays homage to such legendary stars as the Beach Boys, Mamas and Papas, Roy Orbison, Sonny and Cher, The Crystals, Dion, Neil Diamond, and many more.
